Slime workshop

We are parents ourselves, so we completely understand why slime—out of all the toys kids love—often causes the most hesitation (read: a headache) for parents. However, there’s no denying it: once you’ve held a Truly Good Slime in your hands and spent time kneading, stretching, and popping it, it’s hard to argue—slime IS brilliant.

And there is a scientific explanation for that! Squeezing and stretching slime with its unique and unpredictable texture provides the brain with rich sensory stimulation. This supports emotional self-regulation, improves focus, and develops fine motor skills. For those who find it hard to concentrate, playing with slime acts as a "permitted distraction" (fidgeting). This light sensory load keeps the part of the brain responsible for attention engaged, making it easier to listen and focus on complex tasks.

PESA’s Slime Workshop combines all this sensory goodness with the joy of DIY, play, and new knowledge—and it is completely safe. We use only Borax-free base materials with EU safety certifications, biodegradable glitter, food coloring, and high-quality essential and fragrance oils. Every crafter gets to choose their own colors, delicate scents, and sparkles.

Participants will leave with the knowledge of how to play responsibly (so that clothes, carpets, and sofas stay safe) provided both verbally and in writing. We even include a guide for those rare "slime accidents"—cleaning them up is entirely possible and actually quite simple! Each child goes home with two different textured slimes made with their own two hands.
